Proxy Configuration
Configure proxies to improve connection reliability and manage multiple accounts effectively.
Why Use Proxies?
Proxies are useful for:
- Rate Limit Management - Distribute requests across multiple IPs to avoid hitting rate limits
- Connection Reliability - Use dedicated IPs for more stable connections
- Geographic Distribution - Connect from different locations for redundancy
- Account Isolation - Use different IPs for different accounts
If you're managing only a few accounts with light trading activity, you may not need proxies. They become more important as you scale up.
Adding Proxies
There are two ways to add proxies to MEXC Manager:
1. Add Manually
If you have your own proxy servers:
- 1Go to Settings
Navigate to Settings from the sidebar.
- 2Find Proxy Settings
Scroll to the proxy configuration section.
- 3Add your proxy
Enter your proxy details in the format:
protocol://username:password@host:port - 4Test the proxy
Click Test to verify the proxy is working.
2. Buy from Proxy Shop
MEXC Manager has an integrated proxy shop where you can purchase proxies:
- 1Go to Proxy Shop
Navigate to Settings → Proxy Shop.
- 2Select a plan
Choose from available proxy packages based on your needs.
- 3Complete purchase
The proxy will be automatically added to your account.
Proxies from our shop are pre-configured and tested to work with MEXC. They're automatically rotated and maintained for optimal performance.
Assigning Proxies to Accounts
Once you have proxies, you can assign them to specific accounts:
- 1. Go to the Accounts page
- 2. Click on the account you want to configure
- 3. In the edit modal, select a proxy from the dropdown
- 4. Save the changes
Supported Proxy Formats
MEXC Manager supports these proxy formats:
http://username:password@host:port
https://username:password@host:port
socks5://username:password@host:port
host:port:username:passwordTesting Proxies
Always test proxies before using them for trading:
- Use the Test button in proxy settings
- Verify the account after assigning a proxy
- Check latency and response times
Best Practices
- One proxy per account - Avoid sharing proxies between accounts when possible
- Geographic proximity - Use proxies close to MEXC servers for lower latency
- Regular rotation - Rotate proxies periodically for better reliability
- Monitor performance - Keep an eye on proxy response times
Avoid using free public proxies. They're often unreliable, slow, and may compromise your security. Always use reputable proxy providers.
Troubleshooting
Proxy Not Working
- Verify the proxy format is correct
- Check username and password
- Ensure the proxy server is online
- Try a different proxy from the same provider
Slow Connection
- The proxy server might be overloaded
- Try a proxy in a different geographic location
- Check if your proxy plan has bandwidth limits
